DITRA mat

With tile coverings, Schlüter®-DITRA 25 serves as waterproofing, as a vapour pressure equalisation layer against moisture from below and as an uncoupling layer on problematic substrates. The substrate must be level and load-bearing. To bond Schlüter®-DITRA 25, a thin-bed mortar that suits the substrate is applied with a notched trowel (recommended: 3 × 3 mm or 4 × 4 mm). Schlüter®-DITRA 25 is then bonded into it over the full surface with the fleece on its back, which anchors mechanically in the adhesive. Observe the open time of the adhesive.

The tiles are laid professionally in the thin-bed method directly on Schlüter®-DITRA 25, in accordance with the applicable standards. The thin-bed mortar anchors in the undercut square cavities of the Schlüter®-DITRA 25 mat.
