Historic tiles
Everyone knows them – the historic floor tiles in stairwells, churches, hallways, kitchens, etc., with their great variety of patterns and colours. They are almost always stoneware tiles and not, as is often assumed, cement tiles.
Stoneware tiles are fired ceramics. Cement tiles are air-dried.
