Ditra Drain mat

Schlüter®-DITRA-DRAIN is a safe and permanently effective capillary-passive bonded drainage. Outdoors, it is laid in thin-bed mortar over a bonded waterproofing that is applied with a slope, such as Schlüter®-KERDI.

Schlüter®-DITRA-DRAIN 4 consists of a closed polyethylene sheet with truncated-cone studs, approx. 4 mm high, formed on one side and covered with a laminated filter fleece. Some of the studs are inverted truncated pyramids, approx. 2 mm high, which form square undercut chambers on the underside. These anchor the thin-bed mortar, which is applied to the bonded waterproofing with a 6 × 6 mm notched trowel and in which Schlüter®-DITRA-DRAIN is fully embedded. The closely spaced truncated-cone studs can carry very high compressive loads (up to 50 t/m²).
