For your information
A key feature of the classic metro tile is a pronounced bevelled edge.
The bevel refracts the incoming light and gives the typical look that you want.
On very cheap metro tiles this bevel is only slight – almost round – so the light is refracted little or hardly at all.
Etruria Design makes metro tiles with a strongly pronounced bevel in various colours, together with a large number of border tiles and trim pieces.
